We begin with an inventory of what genuinely runs the business, including the things no one documented and the workstation under a desk that turns out to be a server. Every workload gets a decision recorded in writing: move it as it stands, rebuild it on a managed platform service, replace it with a subscription product, or leave it where it is and revisit next year. We sequence the work so the hardest dependency is found early rather than on cutover night, move in windows your operations can absorb, and validate with the people who use the system before anything old is powered off. Some things belong in Microsoft 365, some in Azure or AWS, some should be replaced entirely, and some should stay on the floor because a machine controller needs them there. Each decision gets a reason and an estimated cost so leadership approves the plan rather than the invoice.

Build, Pilot, Then Cut Over

Common Questions

We have an old application the business depends on. Can it move?

Usually, though not always in the form you expect. Some legacy applications lift into a cloud server almost untouched, some need a supported version first, and a few genuinely have to stay on site next to the equipment they control. We tell you which category yours falls into early, because that answer shapes the whole plan and the budget.

How long will we be down?

For most workloads the visible outage is a single evening or weekend, because the bulk of the data is copied over the preceding days and only the final changes move during the window. Larger file estates and databases take longer to seed but not longer to cut over. We give you the window in writing before it happens, along with the rollback path if validation fails.

Will this cost more every month than the servers we own?

The monthly line goes up, and the capital purchase, the maintenance contracts, the power, and the emergency replacement after a storm go away. What turns a sound move into an expensive one is leaving oversized instances running and never retiring the old environment. We set a cost baseline, right-size once real usage is visible, and decommission on a schedule.

Do you work with companies outside the Houston area?

Yes. Migration planning, build, and cutover are remote work, so we run projects for companies across Texas from Amarillo to the Valley. Our data has to stay in certain places for a customer or a regulator. Does that rule this out?

No, but it constrains the design and has to be settled first. Region selection, tenant configuration, encryption key handling, and which subprocessors touch the data are all decisions we make deliberately for regulated and contract-bound work.
