Our main application will not run in the cloud. Is migration still worth it?

How long will our office be down during cutover?

Does moving to Microsoft 365 mean we no longer need backups?
No, and this is the most expensive misunderstanding we correct. Microsoft protects the platform, not your content against deletion, ransomware, or a departing employee clearing a mailbox. Third party backup for the tenant is part of every migration we run.
We flood. Does cloud actually help with that?
