Our files are in Microsoft 365. Is that not already backed up?
Microsoft protects its platform and provides limited recycle bin and retention features, which is not the same as a backup you control. If a file is deleted and the retention window passes, if an account is compromised and content is destroyed, or if you need a point in time restore months later, you need your own copy. This is the most common gap we find and it is inexpensive to close.
What does immutable actually mean here?
